Band/Guard/Orchestra Camp Informtion

August 6th-Band Leadership only day 9:00-12:00 (bring your instrument)

August 7th-Band Freshmen/Sophomores/new student Orientation Day with all Percussion, Guard  and Section Leaders is Saturday 7:30 AM-3:00 PM. Bring your instrument/equipment, music, a sack lunch/snacks, water, sunscreen and a wide brimmed hat.

August 7th and 9th-Parents Camp Registration 7:00 AM (music building) for those who have not registered on-line. Please be on the lookout for emails from the Mt. Carmel Music Foundation MCMF with more information. All parents must register their student for all camps before their student can participate. 


August 9th-13th All Band/Guard Camp! 7:45 AM-5:00 PM. 
Remember, missing camp could result in you being placed as an alternate for our 2021 show! Bring your instrument, music, sunscreen, water (large thermos works best), wide brimmed hat, tennis type shoes and loose, light clothes (shorts and T-shirt) for the outdoor work in the stadium. Lunch will be provided on these days.

Orchestra Camp! August 10th-12th.
Parent registration begins at 8:30 AM August 10th at the music building.

Orchestra Camp begins at 9:45 AM-2:00 PM

Lunch is provided. Bring your instrument and music from the Dropbox!.

 

 

Parent Information Night

The Mt. Carmel Music Foundation is hosting an informal Welcome and Parent Information Night on Monday, July 19 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm outside the Band Room.  We will have a representative from the Band Camp Program, Band Dads, Band Moms, Uniform Moms, Color Guard, SAT Program, and our 44th Annual Tournament of Bands available to answer any questions you might have and welcome you to the program.  Light refreshments will be served.


All Marching Band Members!

We are excited to kick off our 2021 Marching season with a summer marching basics rehearsal . Monday July 19th at Sundevil Stadium 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Bring water to drink, tennis type shoes, comfortable clothes and your instrument.  We encourage all students who are in town to attend this first marching practice to help you get started on preparing for next marching season.

All band students should attend!

PARENTS OF SOPHOMORES AND FRESHMEN! After you drop off your student at the stadium ramp, head over to the Band Room for an informal information meeting all about band. Meet some great people and get involved with our awesome Music Foundation family! Refreshments will also be served 6:00-7:00 PM

We invite you to bring your own lawn chair or blankets to enjoy the return of music here at MCHS! Following the performance, we will have a short award ceremony and recognize our seniors.

Tickets: $10 Adults / Free for Students
Food and Drinks are welcome.
Bottled waters, chips, and sweets will be available for purchase.

Please Note: Masks must be worn at all times while on campus, except when eating/drinking in your socially distanced area
