Saturday: Rancho Bernardo Tournament!

Call time at Rancho Bernardo High School: 6:30 PM

**Parents: Please deliver your student to Rancho Bernardo High on time. Please buy tickets to the show ($12.00) and cheer on our students. We need a SEA OF RED cheering on our kids! Awards Ceremony should end at 10:15 PM make sure you are on time to collect your student so our chaperones can leave too.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Mattress Fundraiser
The 3rd Annual Mt. Carmel Music Foundation Mattress Fundraisers is just around the corner on
Sunday, September 29th!

The most important thing you can do is to promote the event to your family, friends, neighbors,
etc. by emailing or giving them a copy of the flyer. Click here to download a pdf version of the
flyer.

Students shift sign ups begin next week. Small teams of students will work together promoting
the event by holding up signage on strategic street corners or helping the showroom (the band
room).

Tournament Competition Begins!
Mark your calendar for October 5 th . The Marching Sundevils compete in the first tournament of
the season against Rancho Bernardo.

Picture Day and Rehearsal
Section Photos will be taken after the rehearsal on Saturday, September 28 th .
Rehearsal runs from 8:00 – 12:30, with a break for lunch from 12:30 – 1:00 (student need to
bring their own lunch) and then they will change into their uniforms for the photos begin at 1:30.


Friday Sept. 20th

Tonight’s Call time for the Homecoming Game is 5:00 PM

We will perform our show as a Pre-Game show at 6:10 PM

The band will then change out of uniform and into Red shirts then return to the stadium to play for the game.

Upcoming events: Saturday Sept. 28th Choreography rehearsal 8:00 AM-12:30 followed by a lunch break (bring a sack lunch) 1:00 Change into uniform for Band/Guard Picture in Stadium! Done by 1:45 PM

Sunday Sept. 29th-Mattress Fundraiser! Please get some referrals and help us have a successful fundraiser!

October 5th Rancho Bernardo Tournament of Bands! Competitive Season Begins!

 

Wednesday Night IMPORTANT Parent Meeting!

This is an ALL CALL for all Mount Carmel Music Parents to come to a brief meeting tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 PM in the Music Building to help kick off a potentially HUGE fundraiser for out program and receive information on how to help with the Mount Carmel Tournament of Bands! We need “ALL HANDS ON DECK” as just showing up at 7:00 to this meeting will generate potentially $500 donation from our fundraising partner, Custom Fundraising Solutions!

Friday Sept. 13- Football Game: Call time 5:30 We will dress in full-uniform!

Saturday Sept. 14th-VERY IMPORTANT Rehearsal with our Choreographer 8:00 AM-12:00
