Tournament T-Shirt Design

It’s that time of the year again… time for the Tournament T-shirt Design Contest!

Students must submit their “Kaleidoscope of Mind” T-shirt design by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Put final design idea in the T-shirt Design Contest envelope hanging in the band room or e-mail the design idea to Joan Schwenker at jschwenker@roadrunner.com.

Please Note: Design will only be printed in three colors (black, white, and another color, like yellow).

The winner will be chosen by the Tournament Committee, and the Committee reserves the right to alter the logo as needed. The design winner will receive a free Tournament T-shirt and be forever recorded in the long and illustrious history of the Mt. Carmel Tournament of Bands!


Mattress Sale Fundraiser

On Sunday, September 29, 2019, Mt Carmel High School Music and Color Guard is pleased to host a one of a kind fundraising event. This event has been VERY successful for us and thousands of school districts all over the country, for over ten years. We are excited to bring it back for the 3rd time to Mt Carmel High School.

EACH student is responsible for:

• Finding at least one referral to come in and check out the sale.

• Handing out your referral flyers to people you know.

• Volunteering for one shift on Sunday, September 29, 2019 to help promote the event and have FUN!

All sizes, all styles, and name brand sets are available up to 50% below retail. There will be a showroom set up with 20+ displays and a team of experts to assist. Layaway & delivery are available.

Band/Orchestra Camp

Band/Guard camp information:

*Anyone who has not registered for the camps yet should contact Foundation President Michele Prescott at: foundation@mchsband.com

*Band and Guard potluck and concert in the stadium begins Friday August 16th at 6:00PM behind the scoreboard with the concert beginning at 7:15 PM

Woodwinds=bring a main dish that can feed 8-12 servings or more.

Brass=salads or chips/appetizers

Percussion/Color Guard=cookies/desserts

*Bring your own beverages, lawn chairs or blankets to sit on! No alcohol please as we are on a school facility.
